Bridge Closure in Chesterfield County

The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) Maintenance Forces closed the bridge over Branch of Thompson Creek on Rudolph Sikes Road (S-13-136) due to structural deterioration.

The bridge closure was not due to recent weather events. Structural issues were found during a routine inspection. The date of completion is not known at this time.

Traffic will be detoured along Hornesboro Road (S-13-30), SC 9, SC Route 109 and Hough Road (S-13-56).
